When we first sat down to brainstorm the future of Dupe, we set out to be more than your average royalty-free imagery site (a lot more). While giving you the coolest photos on the internet was part of the plan, Phase 2 of Dupe is what we're most excited to share with you.
So what is it?
When conceptualizing what we wanted Dupe to be, we said we wanted to provide a relatable, social-first image bank (✅ check) and in doing so, support creators through connections and visibility (Phase 2). While we work to become your favorite place to find photos you actually want to use, we will simultaneously work to start building the best support for creators through connections and collaborations.
How do you plan on doing that?
There is A LOT in store, but a few things we can share with you are:
Bringing brands to Dupe
We want Dupe to be a place of opportunity for creators. That means bringing eyes and $$$ to you and your work. Over the next six months, we are committed to developing a holistic approach that spans from the initial stage of photo uploads to a comprehensive array of opportunities for creators.
Creator portal
Dupe is intended to be more than just a royalty-free image site, we want it to be a place for insight, connection, and inspiration. In the coming months, we will be working on a hub for creators to grow their profile and connections through analytics and collaborations. We will soon be implementing a dashboard for you to see stats and performance of your photos as well as a hub for you to find collaborations with your favorite brands.
Brand outreach and collaboration
Once brands are brought into Dupe, we want to bring meaningful interactions and connections between creators and these brands, opening up new and exciting opportunities for both parties. We'll introduce a user-friendly system that streamlines outreach and pitching for creators and simplifies campaign development for brands. Additionally, our platform will include robust search capabilities, enabling brands to easily discover creators with similar aesthetics. This way, we're improving the process of connecting creators with brands without the headache of sending numerous emails to an address that you're not even sure is still active.
If you have any ideas for how to improve Dupe for creators, we'd love to hear them! Please reach out us here with any questions, concerns, or suggestions.
